Eduvyra Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Eduvyra handles information across our school ERP website, web application, and mobile application.

Effective date: June 15, 2026

1. Information we collect

Eduvyra is a school ERP platform used by schools, administrators, teachers, students, and parents. Depending on how a school uses the platform, we may process account information, school profile details, student records, parent or guardian contact details, teacher and staff details, attendance, timetable, assignments, exam results, fee records, transport information, notices, and support or demo enquiry information.

When a user submits a demo request from our website, we collect the name, institution name, email address, phone number, and message provided in the form. When a user signs in to the web or mobile app, we process login credentials and session information needed to authenticate the user.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Eduvyra platform, authenticate users, show role-based dashboards, support school workflows, send admission links or login credentials, respond to demo requests, provide customer support, improve reliability, and protect the platform from misuse.

For school-managed records, the school controls how student, parent, teacher, academic, fee, attendance, and operational information is entered and used inside the platform. Eduvyra processes that information to provide the requested ERP services.

3. Mobile app data use

The Eduvyra mobile app connects to the same secure Eduvyra API used by the web platform. The app may store limited session data and cached dashboard information on the device to keep the user signed in and improve loading speed.

The mobile app does not sell personal data. The app does not access precise location, contacts, SMS, or call logs unless a future feature clearly requires permission and the user grants it. If notification features are enabled, push notification tokens may be used only to deliver school-related alerts and updates.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the relevant school or authorized school users based on role permissions. We may also use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, storage, or infrastructure operations, only as needed to operate the platform.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigation, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Eduvyra, schools, users, or the public.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures may include authenticated access, role-based permissions, encrypted transport, restricted operational access, and secure infrastructure providers.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Schools and users should protect passwords, use authorized accounts only, and report suspected misuse promptly.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, and support school operations. Schools may request updates, exports, or deletion of applicable records subject to legal, contractual, and operational requirements.

Demo enquiry information may be retained for follow-up, sales communication, and internal business records unless deletion is requested.

7. User rights and choices

Users may contact their school administrator for corrections to school-managed records such as student profiles, parent details, attendance, fee records, or academic information. For website demo enquiries or general privacy requests, users may contact Eduvyra directly.

Users can stop using the mobile app by logging out and uninstalling the app. Some device-level cached data may also be removed through the operating system app storage settings.

8. Children and student data

Eduvyra may process student information on behalf of schools. Schools are responsible for obtaining any required permissions or consents from parents, guardians, staff, or students according to applicable rules and school policies.

Student data is used only for school ERP workflows such as attendance, timetable, assignments, exams, fees, transport, communication, and related academic or administrative operations.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, legal requirements, or operational practices change. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated effective date.
